I just want to pass the very sad news to you all...we loss one of the
eminent botanist in our region.....Lyn Craven just passed away this morning!

 Charlie, Kippy,

Very sad news - Lyn's wife Kirsty just phoned to say that Lyn died early
this morning.
He has had a long battle with myeloma, and was well a few weeks ago,  but
the downturn came very rapidly in the last week or so.
I'm so glad that he saw his major Melaleuca book just published  (
http://aciar.gov.au/publication/mn156).

He will leave a very large gap in botanical and other circles here in
Canberra,
